The New Roman Missal (1945)

A beautifully produced hand missal, cased in blak leather with gilt edges and six ribbon markers.  Latin/English text.  The missal was published under the editorship of Rev. F.X. Lasance and Rev. Francis Augustine Walsh OSB and was given an imprimatur by Archbishop Spellman in 1945.  The missal contains the pre-1955 Holy Week liturgies. 

Supplementary material includes a detailed introduction by Fr Lasance, General Devotions and Accounts of Feast Days and Lives of the Saints. 

Published in America, the missal does not contain feast days proper to England and Wales or Scotland.  'Proper of Feasts Celebrated in the Diocese of England & Wales' can be purchased separately from the LMS Shop.
