Memorare Tote Bag (Sewing Kit)

Give honour to Our Blessed Lady and bring the beautiful Memorare prayer into your daily life with this calico tote bag, embellished with the Memorare prayer on one side, and a Marian monogram appliqué on the other. The bag is lined with a blue floral Liberty print patchwork cotton. You will apply the damask monogram to the calico and couch gold cord round it, embellish the Memorare prayer print with beads, then assemble the bag. Full instructions are included as well as all the materials you need to make the bag. Finished size (excluding handles) is approx 28cm x 35cm. You will also need a 12” embroidery frame and stand, pins, paper scissors, needlework scissors, chalk marker (or similar), fabric scissors, ruler, iron and board. Sewing machine recommended for the bag assembly.

Produced by the Guild of St Clare, an association of Catholic needleworkers which promotes traditional needlecraft, both for liturgical vestments and in a domestic context.
